Let the games begin! After a one-year delay amid the coronavirus pandemic, the Tokyo Olympics have finally arrived. After the Parade of Nations and Opening Ceremony took place in July 2021, the athletes have begun competing in all sorts of new and existing sporting events — and racking up medals.

Just like Us, many celebrities have been getting into the patriotic spirit as they watch the best-of-the-best athletes compete. In honor of the global Games, Us Weekly has rounded up all of the stars who enjoy watching the Olympics via television or in-person.

Many spectators are in total awe of Simone Biles — known as the GOAT in gymnastics — including one of her own Team USA athletes. Brooke Raboutou is making her Olympic debut on the American climbing team as the sport makes its first Games appearance, and she looks up to many of her fellow Olympians, including Biles.

“I’ve always been very inspired by her,” Raboutou exclusively told Us. “Her mix of gracefulness and being powerful and so strong. And I just love watching her compete and teaching us.”

While spectators couldn’t attend the events in person, they turned on their TVs to watch. In an Instagram post during the Opening Ceremony, Priyanka Chopra Jonas wrote, “I’m sitting in front of my TV watching the opening of the Olympic Games happening right now in Tokyo and the mood is somber, yet the moment feels nostalgic. We all know the games are unlike anything we’ve experienced before, with the best of the best athletes in the world competing for the pride of their countries. The arenas may be without an audience, but our cheers won’t stop, no matter where we are.”

The Quantico alum continued in her post, “Good luck to everyone participating. Know that you are giving an embattled world something to collectively cheer for.”

The summer Olympics were originally scheduled to take place in Tokyo in July 2020, however, organizers were forced to postpone the events as the COVID-19 pandemic spread worldwide.

“Together with its Japanese partners and friends, the IOC is fully concentrated on and committed to the successful delivery of the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 this year,” the International Olympic Committee (IOC) previously wrote in a statement in January 2021. In the message, the IOC acknowledged that “all possible countermeasures against COVID-19” would be taken into account to keep athletes safe when the Games kicked off.

After the Games kicked off on Friday, July 23, 2021, the athletes have been hungry and excited to get back to what they do best: Compete for the gold.

“This means so much to me. I’ve worked so hard for the past couple of years,” Sunisa “Suni” Lee previously told NBC after she made the women’s gymnastics team. “To just go on the floor and do everything I was supposed to do feels amazing. Thinking about this moment right here, making the Olympic team at the Olympic trials [powered me through].”

On the mend. Kyle Richards is starting to recover after she was taken to the hospital for walking into a beehive and getting stung by bees multiple times. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 52, revealed the news via Instagram Story on Sunday, July 25.

“So this happened yesterday,” Richards captioned a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed, holding up an oxygen mask. “I walked into a hive of bees and was stung multiple times. If you know me at all you know I am allergic to bees and terrified of them.”

The Bravo personality shared footage from her home security camera of the accident. In it, she’s seen attempting to run away. The Life Is Not a Reality Show author captioned a Story slide, “I can laugh at this video now but what you can’t see is that they were in my hair and were literally chasing me. My family wasn’t home and for whatever reason the people that work for me couldn’t hear me screaming for help. My landline wouldn’t dial 911 and my epi pen was defective and wouldn’t open.”

In another clip, Richards runs toward her pool and dives in. She wrote, “This is the part I can laugh at now.”

As of Sunday, the Little House on the Prairie alum returned home, which she explained in another Story slide. “I sound out of it because I had just gotten home from the hospital,” she later wrote.

While she’s in better spirits now, Richards wanted to thank the EMTs and urge others with allergies to use their Epi-Pens as needed.

“I share this story with you because I sometimes don’t bother to take my epi pen with me,” the American Woman producer wrote alongside a hospital selfie. “I also don’t know why I couldn’t get mine to work. It’s important to look on your tube and watch the videos of how to use it. There are different types of epi pens and they each work differently. But also always call 911 even if you are able to use your epi pen as they have to use other medications to help breathing etc.”

The reality star concluded her series of posts by thanking her local fire department and hospital “for responding so fast and taking such good care of me.” She added, “Including helping me through my panic attack. And for repeatedly having to convince me there were no more bees in my hair.”

After Richards returned home from the hospital, the LAFD team returned to her house to check on her. “@lafdfirestation83 just came to check on me the day after,” the reality TV personality wrote alongside another selfie. “Still looking like a hot mess with my pool hair and sting marks #supportyourlocalfiredepartment.”

Women supporting women. Simone Biles had nothing but kind words for her fellow Team USA gymnast MyKayla Skinner after the latter failed to move beyond the qualifying round at the Tokyo Olympics.

“So proud of this one,” Biles, 24, wrote via her Instagram Story on Sunday, July 25, with a white heart emoji. “No one understands the hard work and dedication it takes to come back from collegiate gymnastics and make an olympic team.”

After being an alternate at 2016 Olympics, Skinner, 24, became a student at the University of Utah where she competed at the collegiate level. She left school in her junior year to fight for a spot at the Tokyo Olympics. After officially qualifying as an Olympian at the beginning of July, the athlete announced that she’d retire after the Tokyo games.

“The Olympics this summer will mark my last gymnastics competition before I officially retire,” Skinner said in a statement to her university at the time. “I have nothing but good things to say about Utah Gymnastics, from the organization, the athletes, the fans, to Coach Tom and the staff. I will return to finish my degree and graduate at the U, and will forever be a Red Rock.”

The Arizona native qualified as an individual, so she is not part of the team that Biles will compete alongside later this week. Only two gymnasts per country can advance to a final, and Skinner was hoping for either vault or floor exercise. However, on Sunday, she finished just behind her fellow Americans, Biles and Jade Carey, ending her career at the event.

The GOAT had to give it up for her fellow “grandma” after the loss as Skinner and Biles are the oldest Team USA gymnasts. While Carey is 21, the rest won’t be able to celebrate their success with champagne in the states. Sunisa Lee and Grace McCallum are both 18 while Jordan Chiles is 20.

“You did the damn thing! Thanks for reminding us that grandmas can do it too!” Biles added. “Thanks for keeping gym light hearted and fun! I love you Ms Olympian.”

Her friend appreciated the support. “Don’t know what I would do without youuuu!!!” Skinner replied with a kiss emoji. “Thanks sis.”

In a statement after the competition, Skinner shared via Twitter, “Heart broken but feeling sooo humbled and blessed for the amazing performance I had tonight! You have all brought me to tears thanks for being my biggest cheerleaders!”

The Shameless alum, 34, posted the sweet snap via Instagram on Sunday, July 25, to promote the COVID-19 vaccination efforts.

In the pic, Rossum is seen kissing her baby girl, who is facing away from the camera. The TV star captioned her post, “When I was pregnant I got vaccinated. Not only did we have a healthy, beautiful baby girl but we also just learned our daughter now has antibodies,” she explained. “In short, stop being an irresponsible idiot and get the vaccine.”

Rossum’s husband, Sam Esmail, then tweeted the same message on his account.

Rossum and the Mr. Robot creator, 43, previously confirmed their daughter’s birth via Instagram. “5.24.21 On a sunny Monday morning, at 8:13AM, we welcomed our daughter into the world,” she captioned a slideshow of black-and-white maternity pictures.

The couple got engaged in August 2015 after dating for two years before tying the knot in May 2017.

Esmail had proposed to his longtime love with a “beautiful” vintage ring from Paris, The Phantom of the Opera star revealed during an appearance on Chelsea Handler’s Netflix show in November 2016. “It’s from the 1930s. He did a good job.”

However, the circumstances of the proposal were seemingly less romantic.

“I happened to be in the bathtub when it happened,” the Mystic River actor told Handler. “And then I realized that it was happening. And then I got out of the bathtub because I didn’t want the story to be that I was in the bathtub when it was happening. And then I got cold as it was still going on, got back in the bathtub. It was a comedy of errors, but it all worked out.”

Before welcoming the couple’s first child, the actress previously opened up about being raised by a single mother and how that affected her growing up.

“I had a single mom. I have a single mom. This isn’t a secret,” she wrote in an April 2017 Facebook post. “Growing up in a school — and a world — filled with mostly two parent units was difficult for me. Father’s Day still is difficult for me. I’m not really sure how to celebrate. In the weeks leading up to it, I sense it coming like a wave approaching. Sometimes I try to ignore it. … Sometimes, I take my mom to brunch and get her a present, to show her how much I value her.”

Rossum continued, “She really was both a mother and a father for me. I don’t like her to know that it still causes me pain — 30 years later — lest she feel somehow that she wasn’t enough. She was always enough. She is enough. She wasn’t perfect, no one is, but for me she was the best mom ever.”

In 2021, however, she was able to celebrate Esmail. “Happy Father’s Day to the man who made my favorite human,” she shared in June via Instagram.

A perfect match! Sasha Farber and Emma Slater opened up about spending time with their Dancing With the Stars costar Sharna Burgess and her boyfriend, Brian Austin Green.

“I’m so happy for them. They’re fully in love. I’m so happy that she’s happy. It means so much to me. I think they’re great,” Slater, 32, exclusively told Us Weekly on Friday, July 23, noting that they’ve spent “enough” time with Green, 48, to know he’s a good match for their pal.

The Mamma Mia! dancer added, “Like we’ve been over to his house [and he was] so gracious. We were there for Sharna’s birthday and it was wonderful. Then they came over here, maybe a couple of months back, and he just fits right in. He’s such a solid guy.”

Farber, 37, who married Slater in 2018, agreed that the actor really managed to make a good impression on them.

“He really is nice. He organized Sharna’s whole surprise birthday. They thought that they were going out for dinner, but we were all already in the driveway. And they come out fully dressed and she’s like, ‘Wait, what?’” he told Us.

Burgess, 36, and Green were first spotted together in December 2020 and then became Instagram official the following month.

“We took our time and we really got to know each other for who we are on the inside. And we really built something beautiful,” the season 27 winner of DWTS told Entertainment Tonight in March about how their relationship grew during the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the couple, the ability to keep their romance quiet until they felt comfortable played a huge role in their strong connection.

“That anonymity, that little secret that was just ours, we kept that for as long as we could,” Burgess explained at the time. “It was a different way of dating. We really took our time. We took four or five dates before we even kissed. It was truly about getting to know the human being, because that’s where we are both at in our lives. I’m not really dating for fun, I’m dating for serious. I want to get to know you on the inside.”

Green, who was previously married to Megan Fox for almost 10 years before calling it quits in May 2020, also gushed about his girlfriend’s impact on his life.

“Sharna is a really amazing considerate, loving, kind person,” the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum said during an Instagram Live in February. “I kind of feel like when you put yourself in a space where you on some level decided that you’re gonna surround yourself with people that help you move forward on a path instead of pulling you back, that they do that.”

Fox, 35, who shares Noah, 8, Bodhi, 7, and Journey, 4, with Green, showed support for her estranged husband’s new relationship on social media after the Anger Management alum shared a photo of him and Burgess at Walt Disney World earlier this month with the caption, “It’s been a really long time since I’ve been with someone I can truly share life with.”

Fox, for her part, replied in the comments section, “Grateful for Sharna.”

Must be love on the brain! Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have spent years denying that their relationship is anything but platonic, but things finally changed when the rapper called her “the love of my life” in 2021.

After more than a year of rumors, the “Peso” artist confirmed in a May interview with GQ that he was dating the Fenty Beauty founder and called her “The One.” One month earlier, a source told Us Weekly that the pair were spotted “holding hands and laughing” during a night out in Los Angeles.

“It’s obvious they’re a couple and also are each other’s best friend,” the insider added. “They kid around a lot [and] laugh a lot. They have private date nights together a lot and have a blast hanging out together.”

The duo made their red carpet debut in December 2019 at the Fashion Awards in London, but at the time, Rihanna was fresh off her breakup with ex-boyfriend Hassan Jameel, with whom she was first linked in 2017.

“Rihanna and A$AP are hanging out and hooking up,” a source told Us in February 2020. “They’re having fun and have always had chemistry.”

Fans of the musicians first started hoping for a love connection between the twosome when they teamed up in 2012 for a flirtatious performance at the MTV Video Music Awards and A$AP jumped on a remix of Rihanna’s “Cockiness (Love It).”

A few months later, the New York native paid tribute to his friend with a shoutout in his song “Fashion Killa,” from his January 2013 album, Long. Live. A$AP., but by February, he was linked to model Chanel Iman. The former pair got engaged in April 2014 but split for good in October of that year.

Rihanna, meanwhile, was pursuing a relationship with Drake, whom she dated off and on from 2009 to 2016. The duo collaborated on several songs together — including “Work” from her 2016 album, Anti, and “Too Good” from his 2016 LP, Views — but called it quits for good in October of that year.

“She doesn’t want to be held down,” a source told Us at the time. “They will always be close,” added another insider. “If they end up together, it could happen, but not now.”

It’s apparently not happening in 2021, either, because the Ocean’s 8 star seems to be going strong with A$AP. “A$AP has been very into Rihanna for years,” a source told Us in December 2020, adding that the “Umbrella” singer “kept him in the friend zone” for a while. “Things changed over the summer and they finally hooked up. They’ve been together ever since.”

Missing the girls! Cory Wharton struggled while filming season 37 of The Challenge since he had to be away from his daughters. The reality star, 30, shares Ryder, 4, with Cheyenne Floyd, and Mila, 15 months, with girlfriend Taylor Selfridge.

‘The Challenge’ Babies

“It was hard mentally, just because the people at home were kind of struggling. Cheyenne was pregnant, Ryder was acting up. Taylor was missing me, and I missed Mila’s first steps,” Wharton said on the “Watch With Us” podcast while promoting The Challenge: Spies, Lies and Allies. “So, I’m missing crucial points in my child’s life that, like, I’ll never be able to get back. So that’s kind of hard to swallow.”

The Teen Mom OG star, who returned for his ninth Challenge this year, noted that he is strictly on the show to work, not to party— which wasn’t always the case.

Courtesy of Cory Wharton/Instagram

“I don’t have to work a 9 to 5 [job], so that’s a blessing. So, when I do come home after doing a Challenge, I get to spend all my time with my kids. So that’s kinda how I rationalize it,” he told Us. “This one was rough. I’m not gonna lie. This one was real tough. … I missed my kids.”

The Real World alum added that in the last two seasons, he’s made the final, which meant he was gone for a longer amount of time. This season, he was determined to win.

“It was hard for everyone that supports me. There was a lot that went into this,” the Michigan native told Us. “It was definitely stressful and hard, but I think at the end of the day, you just have to do what you feel is best and what everyone feels comfortable with. And, you know, everyone did support me, but I felt a lot of pushback from the people that I love most.”

Some of that drama will play out on the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG, he added. Last month, Floyd, 28, welcomed son Ace with fiancé Zach Davis. However, since she was still pregnant when it was time for Wharton to film, tensions were high.

Me and Cheyenne get into a couple of arguments,” he told Us. “I’m happy to be in this position to have this opportunity to show people a deeper dive into my life, and kind of what goes on and how me and Cheyenne coparent, and how it’s not always rainbows and butterflies. Like, we do have our fights and we do get into it. But at the end of the day, we always make sure that our focus is back on Ryder.”

As their daughter gets older, however, her feelings are also factored in.

“I think we start to see that it’s starting to affect Ryder a little bit, the time me being away,” he said. “And that’s when I have to kind of take a step back and realize, ‘OK, I’m not going to be able to get this time back in my child’s life.’”

The Challenge debuts on MTV Wednesday, August 11, at 8 p.m. ET.

Staying close! Scott Disick and Amelia Gray Hamlin looked loved-up as they enjoyed a weekend boat trip with his kids.

Sharing a series of snaps via Instagram, Disick, 38, blissfully cuddled up to his model girlfriend, 20, on Saturday, July 24.

In one shot, the reality TV star and Hamlin got cozy underneath an Hermès blanket, taking in the sights on the horizon and at sea. Disick captioned his post, “Hermès only to swim.” Taking to his Story, Disick shared another pic of the choppy waves in the boat’s wake as it drove past, with an American flag billowing in the wind off the boat’s stern.

Disick’s 9-year-old daughter Penelope joined the couple on the excursion. In one snap on his Story, “P” posed with a friend while standing on a cushion to see the waves from the speedboat. Disick used the caption, “Pinop” on the slide.

Since the couple started dating, Hamlin’s gotten increasingly close with Disick’s three children — son Mason, 11, daughter Penelope, 9 and younger son Reign, 6 — whom he shares with ex Kourtney Kardashian.

For Penelope’s birthday earlier this month, the model shared a sweet message for the elementary schooler. She commented on Scott’s birthday tribute writing at the time, “little peesh 🥺💞💞 happy birthday to the best facialist in town.”

The pair first confirmed their relationship in February 2021, and they’ve only gotten better with time.

“Everything’s going well for them,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in July. “Their relationship continues to grow as time goes on.”

The insider revealed that Disick and Hamlin “really love each other and care for each other,” noting their relationship is in a good place.

Since the pair began dating, they’ve enjoyed traveling together and “creating new memories.”

The couple was first linked after being spotted together at Kendall Jenner’s Halloween-themed birthday party in October 2020.

After becoming an official couple, a source previously told Us in March 2021 that “Scott and Amelia really do have so much fun together.” The insider added, “They’re a great match because they both love to go out and party and are both very attracted to each other.”

However, Hamlin’s parents — Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin — haven’t had the best opinions about their daughter dating the Talentless founder, considering their 18-year age gap.

On the June 30 episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Rinna, 58, opened up about her feelings about the then-newfound relationship. “It’s a what the f—k moment,” she told costar Erika Jayne. “You’re like, ‘What the f—k?’ She’s 19. He’s 37 with three kids. We’re thinking it’s a phase, right? It’s a phase, I don’t want to bring attention to it.”

She noted her husband, 69, was “calm about” the relationship, but she was a lot more nervous about it. During a confessional, the Rinna Beauty founder noted that she only knew of Disick from Keeping Up With the Kardashians and that he has three kids. “Oh God,” she added at the time. “As a mother, I’m like, ‘Good, this gives her another label to deal with.’”

The “Showmance” podcast host explained that the COVID-19 pandemic forced them to “scale back more than we anticipated,” despite initially planning a smaller ceremony. The couple, who met on popular dating app Hinge, also had to be prepared to reschedule or postpone their ceremony depending on public health advisories.

“We wondered a lot during the planning process if the wedding we imagined would happen,” the actress, best known for playing Tina Cohen-Chang on Glee, added.

Ushkowitz and Stanley, who works with nonprofits, were able to celebrate their nuptials with an outdoor ceremony and 104 guests at the Lombardi House, an event space in Los Angeles that can typically accommodate about 250 guests.

In September, the Broadway producer had an intimate engagement party to celebrate the impending nuptials, which was attended by her former Glee castmates Heather Morris, Kevin McHale and Becca Tobin.

The perfect fit! Several actors have enjoyed working with one another so much that they continued to score roles in the same projects.

Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling had perfect onscreen chemistry in projects like Crazy, Stupid, Love, Gangster Squad and La La Land, which inspired a real friendship between the pair.

“I can’t even imagine what my life would be without Ryan,” Stone gushed during a Q&A at the Telluride Film Festival in September 2018.

The Easy A star explained how her “dear, wonderful friend” adds to her positive experience when they are on the same set.

“He’s so special. It makes me emotional. He’s so talented but he’s such a great person to work with because he’s so collaborative and excited about the process. He’s taught me a lot about being really generous,” Stone added at the time.

Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort were another duo that found something unique in their scene partner over the years.

“There’s something really beautiful about working with someone and working with them again and again and again, because the more you get to know somebody on a personal level, the more free you feel artistically. I think that if Ansel and I hadn’t known each other from Divergent, our relationship in this movie would not be what it is, because we didn’t have to go through the rehearsal phase of getting to know one another, becoming comfortable with one another,” Woodley explained to The Hollywood Reporter in May 2014.

Unfortunately, not all collaborations are meant to last forever, with Seth Rogan revealing that his professional partnership with longtime friend James Franco had come to an end. The pair had starred in Freaks and Geeks, Pineapple Express, This Is the End, The Interview, Sausage Party and The Disaster Artist.

“I do not plan to [work with Franco] right now,” Rogen told the U.K.’s Sunday Times in May 2021 following sexual abuse allegations against Franco. “What I can say is that I despise abuse and harassment, and I would never cover or conceal the actions of someone doing it, or knowingly put someone in a situation where they were around someone like that.”

The 127 Hours actor was originally accused of propositioning a 17-year-old girl via Instagram in 2014. In January 2018, five women came forward with sexual misconduct allegations against Franco. He reached a settlement in the lawsuit in 2021, according to court documents obtained by Us Weekly.

Rogan admitted that he wasn’t sure where his friendship with Franco stands after the allegations surfaced.

“I don’t know if I can define that right now,” the Vancouver native noted at the time.

The brand explained, “For this unique event, #DolceGabbana created a number of exclusive hand-made gowns, each celebrating the beauty of the bride, the passion for #AltaModa and the absolute joy of the occasion.”

Alongside its caption, D&G shared a video of the process of creating Lady Kitty’s gowns, from sketches to fittings and the final look. One of her dresses was a strapless blue tulle dress covered with pink floral appliqués and a matching cape over her shoulders. A second dress featured an emerald green off-the-shoulder bodice and a pink-and-white floral skirt with massive green jewels. A third, form-fitting dress was made of primarily white lace with pink and green floral details. The video concludes with Lady Kitty’s showstopping white, long-sleeved lace gown with buttons down the back, cap sleeves and a turtleneck neckline. She paired the full-skirted dress with a lengthy veil, diamond earrings and tied her hair in a low bun.

The Daily Mail reported that the bride’s brothers — Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp and Samuel Aitken — walked her down the aisle. Her twin sisters, Eliza and Amelia, were also in attendance for the nuptials, as was Viscountess Emma Weymouth. Weymouth shared photos of her attendance via Instagram Story alongside the likes of models Sabrina Elba and Maye Musk and designer Jade Holland Cooper, who also wore dresses by Dolce & Gabbana. Made in Chelsea alum Mark Vandelli attended the nuptials as well, sharing a dressed-up pic via his Instagram with the caption, “Coming for you @kitty.spencer 💚🤍❤️.”

Attendees shared further images of the evening via Instagram of a light show display and musical performance at the venue.

She previously opened up about her love life during a March 2019 interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I’ve been really lucky. I’ve always had really lovely, straightforward boyfriends,” she said at the time. “Whenever anything exciting happens in my life, or sad, the serious boyfriends I’ve had will be the first to get in touch and the first to be supportive. I don’t see the appeal of going for anyone who’s too complicated or not trustworthy. I just like people who are kind.”

During the interview, Lady Kitty revealed her future hopes. “I just want a happy family, and I want to be married with children,” she added.

Paying it forward. Country singer Luke Combs donated funds to cover the funeral costs of three of his young fans who saw him perform on July 16 in Brooklyn, Michigan.

Kole Sova, William “Richie” Mays Jr. and Dawson Brown attended the 30-year-old crooner’s set at the Faster Horses Festival before their deaths later that weekend.

According to a CBS News report, the three young men were found dead in their travel trailer — which had been parked on the festival grounds — from alleged exposure to carbon monoxide poisoning. Authorities on the scene speculated that a generator near the trailer’s setup caused the poisoning. Sova was 19, and both Mays and Brown were 20.

After their deaths, a GoFundMe page was set up by the Michigan Center Athletic Boosters to raise funds for the funeral costs, to which Combs quietly donated. The GoFundMe site has already raised more than $65,000 for their families.

“For him to reach out and do that, I don’t even have the words. I wish I could just give him a hug,” Sova’s mother, Meeka, told the outlet.

Mays’ mother, Amy Satterthwaite, recalled holding her son’s hand during the concert. “That was the last time we were with our boys,” she added.

The “Better Together” singer had no further comment about the donation, spokeswoman Asha Goodman told CBS affiliate WLNS-TV at the time.

Following his set, Combs tweeted, “Michigan, what a night. I wanna come back next year!”

The singer has frequently given back to those in need. In September 2020, he teamed up with Ford to help veterans cope with post-traumatic stress disorder through music. At the time, he helped the car company give away $25,000 worth of instruments through the Guitars 4 Vets organization. He even gave some of the recipients a music lesson.

“Ford has supported the military and veterans for nearly a century, and Luke Combs has paid tribute to the brave men and women of our armed services,” Ford Vice President Mark LaNeve said in a statement. “Working with Combs and Guitars 4 Vets is a great way to continue helping veterans as part of our Proud to Honor initiative.”

Previously, the singer partnered with the CMA Foundation to donate $1 million to Houston-area music students in November 2017 as part of Hurricane Harvey relief efforts.

“From elementary school all the way through college, I was involved in music programs and chorus through my schools and that has impacted so much of my life and career,” Combs said in a press release at the time. “I’m grateful the CMA Foundation asked me to be a part of today’s event in Houston. Giving these students the opportunity to discover and learn about music is really incredible to be a part of.”

It’s time to celebrate tequila! National Tequila Day (yes, it’s a real holiday) is on Friday, July 24, and there’s no better way to honor the potent spirit than with a roundup of celebrity-owned tequila brands.

While celebrity wine labels currently outnumber tequila brands backed by famous faces, the Mexican libation has seen an influx of celebrity interest in recent months. For example, good friends and former Breaking Bad costars Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston announced the upcoming release of their own Dos Hombres Mezcal (a drink very similar to tequila) in June 2019. The spirit hit shelves the following month.

Prior to the debut, the actors teased their latest venture with a series of cryptic social media posts, leading many fans to believe that a Breaking Bad reboot or movie was in the works. When the duo finally revealed their drink after weeks of speculation, some fans were less than thrilled.

“Three years ago we sat in a sushi bar in New York. Talking about life and what we could possibly do down the road together. We had the time of our lives while shooting Breaking Bad and truly built a very special bond. Knowing that we couldn’t share the screen for quite a while – our thoughts turned to a new project,” a joint Instagram post from the stars explained at the time.

They added: “We are crazy about the taste, the aroma, and the versatility of this smokey, age-old alcohol.”

When Dos Hombres celebrated its first anniversary in July 2020, the Truth Be Told star took the opportunity to show his appreciation for the brand’s fans. “Thank you. All of you. For making the @doshombres dream a reality. Today we’re celebrating our 1 year anniversary the best way we know how – having Dos Hombres. Lots of it,” he shared at the time. “It’s been an incredible year and we’re just getting started.”

By March 2020, there was another big player in the tequila game — Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The Baywatch star celebrated his libation with a soft launch amid the coronavirus pandemic and has posted a series of cocktail tutorials using Teremana on his Instagram account. The drink has even found its way into many of the California native’s noteworthy cheat meals, including an epic boozy sundae he made in July 2020.

In response, the fitness trainer tagged the Instagram user in the follow-up Story, writing, “How dare you judge anyone especially someone going through this process.”

The former Broadway dancer promised her followers that she would “address this soon.” She added, “There’s too much to say and too much that widows deal with to not talk about it. Until then I will call out anyone who is rude enough to comment like this.”

During the CBS talk show, Kloots revealed that she had recently begun “dating again,” more than a year since her husband Nick Cordero died after COVID-19 complications. While the Live Your Life author didn’t share a lot of details during the episode, she admitted it hasn’t been an easy process.

“Both of my husbands, I met doing Broadway shows. We became friends first, then we got married,” she said at the time, referencing her first husband David Larsen, to whom she was married from 2007 to 2014. “Obviously with Nick, we had a child. I’ve never actually had to date. I just started dating again and it is so crazy to be dating for the first time at 39 years old. And it’s quite terrifying and really out of your element, and it’s just hard. It is hard.”

The single mom continued, “It’s all wonderful. It’s wonderful people I’m meeting, and it’s been a great process so far. But I’ll just say it’s very hard without getting into too many details.”

Prior, the Broadway alum has been vocal about the difficult time she’s endured since Cordero’s death.

The Talk cohost previously opened up to Us Weekly in April 2021 about how hard it’s been navigating the grief of losing her partner. “A lot of people have said to me, ‘It gets easier [and] time helps,’ and I don’t know if I found that yet. I still pretty much cry every day. It’s growing pains,” she said.

The former professional dancer also told Us that their 2-year-old son Elvis’s new milestones make the grief process increasingly difficult. “With Elvis, like, there’s so many things that he does or there’s times in life that you just wish your person was there to celebrate with,” she explained. “And I think that that’s where it’s harder because you miss your person so much.”

Earlier this month, Kloots shared via Instagram Story that Elvis began nursery school and this new milestone once again heightened her grief.

“I was doing fine but all of a sudden got super emotional,” she previously shared on her Story alongside a snap of Elvis’s backpack. “Another part of grief you have to face that you don’t realize until the moment. Nick should be here. We should be doing this together. Chin up. Brave face.”

Cordero was first admitted to the hospital in March 2020 after experiencing symptoms of the coronavirus. The former Broadway star died on July 5, 2020, at age 41 after facing several complications, including a mini-stroke, blood clots and a leg amputation.

“I am in disbelief and hurting everywhere,” Kloots announced his death via Instagram. “My heart is broken as I cannot imagine our lives without him. Nick was such a bright light. He was everyone’s friend, loved to listen, help and especially talk. He was an incredible actor and musician. He loved his family and loved being a father and husband. Elvis and I will miss him in everything we do, everyday.”

Mom struggles. Jessica Alba is the mother of three children in addition to being an actress and the CEO of The Honest Company, and she admits that it’s hard to balance everything. She was open about her missteps as a parent — especially with teen daughter Honor.

“I’m struggling with not treating her like a little — I want to treat them all like babies,” Alba, 40, admitted of her daughters on the July 22 episode of Katherine Schwarzenegger‘s Instagram series Before, During & After Baby.

The LA’s Finest star shares daughters Honor, 13, and Haven, 9, as well as son Hayes, 3, with husband Cash Warren, who she married in 2008. Alba said she started going to therapy with her eldest daughter two years ago because Alba felt it would’ve benefited her and Honor’s grandparents as she was growing up.

“I felt like my relationship really suffered with my parents because they didn’t know how to communicate with me and how I needed to be parented,” Alba explained. “So I didn’t want that breakdown with Honor so we went to therapy together.”

After starting to see a professional, the young teen “really felt empowered to find her voice, speak her voice, and own her opinions,” Alba said.

That means that she was able to point out what her mom needed to change. The Dark Angel alum says her daughter really just wanted some one-on-one time.

“[She was like,] ‘You need to spend more time with me alone without Haven around.’ That was a big one,” Alba said. “And, ‘You need to treat me like I’m me and she’s her. You can’t mush us together.’ I have to say, I kind of still struggle with that.”

Their therapist recommended the Sin City star set aside half an hour of one-on-one time each week with each of her three children.

“I haven’t started this practice, yet. I have a hard time with consistency so that’s another thing that I’m working on,” Alba admitted. “It’s not just doing sort of the, well we ate dinner together, and we did homework together, and going through the motions of day-to-day, but we’re going to cover up 30 minutes we’re gonna do whatever you want.”

Honor entered her teenage years in June, and her mom posted an Instagram slide show with a lengthy emotional message to her first child. In the post, the author of the upcoming children’s book, A Bear to Share, admitted that she was having trouble accepting that her daughter is growing up.
